Create-ober/Day 16
To begin the final period of the day, we started by getting into our assigned seats and settling in. We had written our daily plans in our agendas, and started our new creative pieces for the new Create-ober. After we had completed writing in our agendas, Ms. Nakada called up Kat to say her blog. Kat then explained what we did on Monday, which then led her to pick me to write the Blog of the Day. During this, some people decided to show off their Create-obers. Then, we transitioned into our Grammar, Quote, Question, Song notes. "Hawai'i" '78" Israel "12" Kamakawiwo'ole was our Song of the Week. As a class, we discussed on what that song really explains to us. In this song, the people in Hawaii get very upset about their land getting modernized by others. Afterwards, Ms. Nakada gave us directions on how to do our S.L.C. (Student Led Conference) Letters. She specifically told us that we could use our recent projects/assignments to explain on what we learned, and how we incorporate those ideas to reality. While we began doing this assignment, two students of Ms. Nakada's choice pass out files that contain our recent assignments we completed in class such as our Reading Projects, I-ready scores or even songs that really spoke to us from our G.Q.Q.S. notes from passed weeks.
