Nano Session 2

HW: Novels, 67%-100%

The period began with the class writing down the agenda. Then, Richard presented his blog and chose me, we didn't get a point due to corrections in his blog. After we reviewed the blog, the class had a ten minute NanoWriMo writing session. Once the ten minutes were up, we had to do the lines for this week's. The line was one of your own from your NaNoWriMo. After we had our own favorite line, we had to post it on Schoology. Then, the class had to continue working on the NaNoWriMo until the end of class.

Week 15 Grammer, Quote, Question, Song

NaNo session 2

Homework: Novels 63%-95%

We started our class period by coming into the classroom and sitting down. After we did that, we proceeded to write down the agenda. We listened to the previous blog, and then spun a wheel to decide who would write the next one. Afterwards, we worked on our novels. Once the timer ran out, we took out our English notebook and wrote down the grammar, quote, question after putting the week 15 grammar, quote, question, lines in our table of contents. For grammar, it was a small review of the I.A.B. For our quote it was "It's okay how some stories leave off without an ending. Life doesn't always deliver the one you expect" by Adam Silvera. We were then asked to write what we thought it meant. Our question was when has an end been a beginning. After this, we continued to work on our novels until the bell rang in which we exited the class.

Week 14: Quiz

HW: Novels 57%-85% by Sunday night!

To start the sixth period, we walked into class and got our things ready to learn. We took out our binder reminders to write down the agenda, and Ms. Nakada played a one minute breathing video. Then, Andrew did his blog and picked the wheel. The wheel was: five Richard's, two Mason's, one Jalen, and sadly, I got picked. We started the class by doing the NaNo session one until Ms. Nakada was finished grading everyone's binder reminders. After, Ms. Nakada announced that her timer was over and the class got started on the Week Fourteen Quiz. After everyone finished their quiz, the class got back to their novel to either catch up, or continue it. Finally, Ms. Nakada told everyone to pack up, have a great weekend, and then she dismissed us.

NaNo Session I

Week 14: G-Q-Q-S-L

NaNo Session II

Homework: Novels, 47%-70%

We started off the period by writing down the agenda, and watching our daily meditation video.  It was Isaac's turn to read the blog, so he read his blog and decided to do the wheel of names to choose the next person to write the blog. Putting ten of me, and one Richard, I obviously got chosen. We then started our ten minute session I of writing our novels. After, we started our G-Q-Q-L-S. Our question was, "What are you/your character most grateful for?" Some of us shared our response, and then we listened to our song of the week which was "Living on a Prayer." by Bon Jovi. One of the lyrics was "Whoa, we're halfway there." which related to our novels because by Friday, we should be halfway finished. After listening to the song, we switched over to lines. It was, "Pep Talk." by Mark Oshiro. He gave tips on how to write books, which we could use to write our novels. Some tips were to reward yourself with a tiny snack every one hundred words. After the lines, we did our second session of novel writing. Some of us challenged ourslf by setting a word sprint. Soon, the ten minutes came to an end. We packed up, put our chairs up, and Ms. Nakada dismissed us.

NaNo Session 2

HW Novels 43% - 65%

We started out with Ms. Nakada telling everyone where their new seats will be. After, we did take a minute. After, Hunter shared his second blog and then we corrected Hunters blog. Sadly after I got picked for the next one. Then, we worked on our Novels for 10 minutes because we have to have 10,000 words by the end of this week. Then, we checked how many words we got, and Ms. Nakada gave us some very bad news and told us that the third period passed us in the NaNoWriMo word count. Afterwards, we opened our writing journals and started our week 14 G.Q.Q.S.L. We started with Grammar and the word was allusion. Also, we got into the quote and the quote was by Leonard Bernstein "To achieve great things, two things are needed; a plan and not enough time." Then, we got to writing our novels for the last five minutes of class. Then, the bell rang, and class was over.
